Turbo Lister Woes!

Eek!  I’m trying to do “Search and Replace” in Turbo Lister to make all of the eBay-related changes that are up and coming.  Holy cow!  Does that slow down the computer or what?!?  So much easier though than to edit each one individually!

I’ve managed to get about a total of five listings up today!  So much for my goal of 300 for the week!

Onward amd through the fog!

Gun Parts Fabrication!

We had the pleasure of crossing paths with a gentleman who is a master fabricator.  He has years upon years of experience in creating no longer found parts for nearly any gun.  If you should need a part made, this is the gentleman to go to:  (And tell him you were sent by Precision Bluing so he will really believe that we think the world of him!)

Day 2,307

Yep!  That’s how many days we’ve been selling on eBay!  Seems like so much more than that when you say since March 16, 2002!

And we have enjoyed every last minute of it!

This is one reason why:  My sister-in-law and I went to a yardsale run by three brothers.  Mom and dad used to do the antique circuit and sold them over the years, but had many, many items left.  When we arrived at the sale, they handed us a Rubbermaid bin and said “Here -fill this for $5.00!  I left with about six bins, got home, grabbed the husband and went back for more!

One of the items was an Ironstone double inkwell.  In the bin it went!  So with everything else in the bin, I ended up paying maybe .15 for this item.  So far it’s up to $24.00!  Yay!

So, what do you do when you have tons of stuff coming in between  your own finds and those that others are bringing in, and you just don’t have the time to get it all listed as fast as you should?  AND you have three books you want to write AND you want to do more blogging and social networking to promote your business AND you want to do more with your Education Specialist training and have more classes??  I still trying to figure out how to get cloned!

Just don’t want to end up like Steve in Multiplicity!

Later gater!

Mailing Packages Internationally

I know you are just like me in that anything that saves time is a huge plus!  Often online sellers find themselves having to go to the post office to mail international packages.  This is how we do it.

I order the two different customs forms and have them in stock here.  We package the item up, fill out the form and leave it with the other packages to go out that the USPS picks up at our front door.  In the upper right corner we mark it “FCI” (First Class International) so they know how much postage to apply.

The post office doesn’t know we can print Priority and Express labels from the Paypal site~

Then, each month, I give the Postmaster a check for $200.00 “on account”.  They then deduct the postage for the international packages and send me the receipt with my new balance on the bottom.  Voila!  No more trips to the Post Office!

I hope this helps!
